SAN GIMIGNANO - The Hotel is sited in the historical centre of S. Gimignano,
in Piazza della Cisterna 23. The building is an old palace of the XIIIth century.
Built on a hill overlooking the Val d’Elsa valley, S. Gimignano is one of the main
tourist attraction for those who want to visit the Chianti zone, also thanks to its
position at the very centre of the triangle Siena-Florence-Volterra.

Since S. Gimignano’s historical centre is a restricted traffic zone, it is possible to reach
the Hotel by car only for loading or unloading the luggage, by following the trip

how to reach us
FROM ROME (about 3 hours) : Take motor-way A1 with direction of Florence;
exit Val di Chiana; follow firstly the signs for Siena, then for Florence; exit Poggibonsi;
once you are there, it will take 10 minutes to come to S. Gimignano).
FROM SIENA (about 40 minutes):Take Siena-Florence junction with direction of Florence;
exit Poggibonsi; once you are there, it will take 10 minutes to come to S. Gimignano).
FROM PISA (about 1 hour):Take Pisa-Florence junction (Ss. 555 also called FI.PI.LI)
with direction of Florence; exit Ponte a Elsa; follow the signs for Castelfiorentino and then for Certaldo;
once you are there, it will take 15 minutes to come to S. Gimignano.
FROM FLORENCE (about 45 minutes):Take Florence-Siena junction with direction
of Siena exit Poggibonsi.
