Every year, during the third week in June, the aged twelfth-century feast, Ferie Messum, is performed. In medieval times the feast had been organized to celebrate the harvest, but it was also, above all, a reason to let go for all the people.

Singing, dancing, game playing such as jousts between men on horseback armed with staffs, falcon exhibits, and archery were all presented.

And still today these events are at the center of the feast days along with the parades in medieval costumes.
