Certaldo

Here you can inhale the atmosphere of a medieval borgo with its stoned streets, age-old homes and craftsmen and craftswomen

Chianti

For whomever enjoys fine wines, there is nothing more beautiful than visiting Chianti. 

Its wine cellars are precious. Its panoramas are postcard-like. Its surrounding small towns are charming and quaint.

Stop to see Castellina, Greve, Radda, Badia a Passignano, Panzano and many others.

You might also visit a wine-making establishment and taste the very real Chianti wines known throughout the world

Florence

A cultural visit to the Cradle of the Renaissance is obligatory. See in Firenze (Florence) the Duomo (cathedral), Palazzo Signoria, the Galleria degli Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, the Galleria dell’Accademia and many other amazing sights that thrill millions of visitors coming to Italy every year.

Lucca

Well known for its city walls and for the delightful historic town center is worth a visit.

Dante cited this beautiful city in his Inferno. The city's walls and the castle are surrounded by fields and the view stretches beyond charming rolling hills

Siena

We should not have to introduce you to the City of Palio. But, if you really want to delve more deeply into the rich history of Siena, our guides are at the ready to help you do so. 

Terme

To take a regenerable bath in hot waters, just visit the Rapolano Terme. This hot springs is only an hour from San Gimignano.

Others you might visit include Querciolaia and San Giovanni.

Another possibility is the hot springs of Casciana Terme, (one hour away) and the spectacular Bagno Vignoni in the heart of Val d’Orcia. At Gambassi (20 minutes away) and Montecatini (1 hour away) you will come across thermal waters that you can drink and which are rich in beneficial properties that will improve your health. 

The Farms

One would need an evening star to be guided around the little pearls of our countryside.

The farms of San Gimignano, Siena and Chianti, where the fine wines of our region are produced, also are famous for their sliced meats and salamis, cheeses and virgin olive oil. 

The South of Siena & the Val d’Orcia

If you are searching for a natural ambience without comparison, one that possesses thermal baths and picturesque locales, it would be worth your while to organize a tour of the Val d’Orcia.

Here you will find Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino, famous for their sheep's milk cheese and their noble wines and, especially, Brunello.

Be sure to stop at the splendid Abbazie di Monteoliveto Maggiore and the Abbazie di Sant'Antimo where a sense of spirituality, serenity and art fills the air.

Volterra

This splendid city is perfect for a tour through its medieval setting. There are many crafts shops where one might acquire sculptured pieces in marble and alabaster not found in any other place in the world.

Cycleturism

What would you think is better than hopping on a bike and gleefully traveling through the hills of the Tuscan countryside, its panoramic streets and roads, and its rough-going pathways?

We can even have one of our expert guides go with you and, if you prefer, you might take a motorcycle or Vespa instead of a bicycle.

Via Francigena

Perhaps you already know that in medieval times that what is today the Hotel La Cisterna was a “place for pilgrimage.” It was a locale where people could receive a warm welcome during their jaunts along Via Francigena.

Even today visitors choose to go along this route that from France travelers, on their way to Rome, stopped off for the night at the Hotel la Cisterna.
